January 6 - Mine

Mine are the memories 
of Megan's birth 10 years ago. 

 Happy Birthday Megan! 

And then mine are the memories 
of the pinkies up tea party 

and making girls beautiful nite this last summer. 

Megan is highlighted since its her BD!

January 5 - Movement

The movement today was to try to keep warm. It started out at 8 degrees this morning and got up to 20 degrees!!! My quilt helped and then after running errands--it was home to make a butternut squash soup--and then enjoy it. It was wonderful. I did a screen capture of the recipe if you are interested.. I used a whole can of coconut milk and a little water and left out the canned milk.

January 4 - View from here

This view is of a declaration and vision great people had for our country many years ago. What a view they had!!! What a difference it made! What a good view for me to have today!!! What can I envision and do this year that will make even a small difference?

January 3 - Heart

Another lunch time walk in the lobby--where I didn't think I would find "Heart". First of all -- the heart of all the Christmas music that filled the COB during Christmas was still there. Second a bronze of pioneer parents laying to rest their infant. My heart felt their grief and also ached because I had never noticed. Heart--there is a heart image wherever you are!

January 2 - Something New

Three new things today. On a noon time walk through the mall, I noticed a store sign in the shape of a purse (never saw the shape before). Also the trees in the walkways of mall (which can be open air or covered) still had their leaves--in January!! Then at the end of the day, I tried a Trader Joe Peppermint tea-new to me. All these noticed today because I was looking for something new. Also to make a new way of looking at these common things I added an interesting effect. I love finding new things!!!

January 1 2013 - Today
